GREEN STREET

This house was dated, and the builder-grade materials originally installed lacked character. We flipped the kitchen and dining room and closed a passthrough that sat in between the kitchen and dining room. This allowed for a family bulletin board for keeping track of family events and a slim charging counter in the kitchen. In the living room, the closed passthrough enabled an entirely new furniture configuration so that two couches could now flank a new fireplace.

We also managed to reuse the existing kitchen cabinets by sanding and spray booth painting them. Adding an all-new large entry vestibule at the front door created a classical transition from exterior to interior. The additional storage for shoes, coats, hats, and gloves is highly valued.
